SUMMER TV REVIEW: The Jaquie Brown Diaries

THE JAQUIE BROWN DIARIES: Not exactly sure why this BBC show is on LOGO based on episode 1, but, as Joy Behar from The View would say: "so what, who cares?" Very British in humor, BROWN is thick-accented, so you may need to sync up the subtitles. The first episode has TV personality Jaquie Brown being pared up with a co-anchor to her talk show segment, someone whom JB see as a threat to her job. The aftermath is roughly 30 minutes of JB making an arse of herself to her co-workers (though they already pretty much think of JB as an arse to begin with). It's not LOL-funny, but it surely has a vibe similar to THE OFFICE that came before it. B+
